Ed Fraser Memorial also accepts self-referred screening mammograms for patients with and without an established primary care physician.
To be eligible for self-referral, patients must be:
- Women aged 40 years or older,
- And have not received a screening Mammogram at Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital or any other institution in the last 12 months.
A physician order is not required for a screening mammogram. And with our state-of-art digital mammography, there’s no reason to travel out of town and endure the frustration of traffic and long lines.
