Baker Rural Health Clinic
Your affordable and convenient alternative to the emergency room.
SERVICES

Hours of Operation
- Monday through Saturday, 9:00 am to 7:30 pm
- Walk-ins and appointments are welcome
At Baker Rural Health Clinic, you’ll find a friendly, welcoming atmosphere staffed by experienced nurse practitioners backed by the clinic’s medical director. You and your family can expect compassionate, highly competent care for illnesses like colds and flu, sports injuries, sudden pain, infections, and flare-ups of chronic conditions. We treat patients of all ages.
COVID-19 Antibody Testing
Baker Rural Health Clinic is now offering COVID-19 antibody testing during regular hours of operation by appointment only. An antibody test will help assess if you have antibodies to the virus that causes COVID-19 or if you have had a previous infection.
This test may not be able to show if you have a current infection, because it can take 1 to 3 weeks after infection to make antibodies. The results, along with other information, can help you and your healthcare provider make informed recommendations about your care.
If you have any questions about COVID-19 antibody testing or would like to schedule an appointment, please call (904) 653-4700 ext. 5001 or ext. 5002.
An Alternative to the ER
When an illness or injury is not life-threatening, a visit to Baker Rural Health Clinic is a better choice than the long wait times of an emergency room. Our staff is ready to serve you, whether you scheduled an appointment or walked in.
Discounted Rates
If cost stands between you and a health care solution, you’ll be relieved to know that Baker Rural Health Clinic serves the community with clinical care at a discounted rate. Out-of-state residents are also welcome.
If you’re uninsured, we ask for payment on a sliding fee schedule: $10 for the lowest income, increasing at $10 increments based on income to a maximum of $50.
If you are insured by a commercial company or HMO but have a high co-pay, your cost will be $50. We also accept Medicare and Medicaid.
