Dietary Aide

We are hiring for a PRN weekend shift Dietary Aide.

The Dietary Aide/Assistant Cook will assist the Dietary Manager to plan, implement, and provide nutrition services for the hospital.

Essential Functions

Correctly place and store clean equipment, dishes and utensils in assigned storage areas.
Check in food items and supplies.
Prepare daily nourishment sheet.
Prepare daily tray cards.
Hang daily menus in Nursing Home dining rooms.
Place menu in mailboxes weekly.
Maintain and improve professional knowledge and skills.
Provide excellent service to patients, guests and physicians in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
Treat fellow employees with the same respect and consideration as customers.
Display appropriate dress and personal hygiene while on duty.
Review and maintain working knowledge of employee’s specific departmental policies and procedures.
Immediately reports all incidents, injuries and/or grievances upon receipt of occurrence to the department head.
Attend and participate in all mandatory in services and meetings related to their department.
