Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital is recruiting for a PRN night shift Registered Nurse in our Inpatient Unit.

This role provides direct and indirect patient care in the medical-surgical setting.  Communicates with physicians and co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.  Able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.  Additionally, able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.

Applicants must have previous Telemetry experience. Knowledge of EHR, Pyxis and Meditech (a plus).

Must have current State of Florida RN License.

One year experience required.

Current BLS

Ability to work independently and have critical thinking skills.

Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital is an integral part of Baker County Medical Services, Inc. The Inpatient Unit of Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital encompasses a 25-bed unit, caring for patients with a variety of problems such as respiratory difficulties, cardiac disease, sepsis and infectious disease. The Inpatient Unit supports the OR/PACU with pre and post-operative needs, as well as providing IV therapy.
