CFO Rural Hospital-Not for Profit
An excellent opportunity awaits you in Macclenny, FL for an experienced CFO with Rural Hospital and Administrative Management experience! The ideal candidate will understand accurate cost reporting and its implications on operations and related decisions. This position requires competency in Medicare, Medicaid and other third party insurance company billing requirements. Strong interpersonal relation skills along with a positive and enthusiastic approach to the job including dedication to quality and continuous improvement. Must have unquestionable ethics, high standards, and able to protect the integrity of confidential information at all times.
The CFO will lead the Finance/Fiscal/Accounting/Payroll/Billing/Purchasing Departments in addition to other assigned departments and responsibilities as assigned by the CEO. The CFO will maintain contract negotiations with Health Plans and partner with the current in house Finance/Billing/Purchasing Departments in the assessments of existing and new contractual relationships. The CFO will work in conjunction with the CEO on all short and long term financial planning to support the financial and operational strategic goals of BCMS. The CFO will evaluate, advise and/or negotiate managed care contracting both with Health plans and Physicians. The CFO will be expected to actively engage in alternative reimbursement systems for member health centers such as value based payments and 340B drug reimbursement program.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in relevant healthcare experience and education. This role requires a minimum of (5) years progressively responsible work experience in finance, accounting, budgeting, cost reporting and leadership and management in Healthcare (prefer in non-profit and/or rural setting).
Must pass Level 2 AHCA screening
