Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital is seeking to recruit a Full-Time CRNA to join our Medical and Surgical team.

Job Responsibilities.

• Provide pre-anesthetic patient education, preparation, and evaluation.
• Recommend, request, and evaluate pertinent diagnostic studies.
• Select, prepare and administer anesthetic agents or other agents required for management of anesthetic care.
• Inform Anesthesiologist and/or Surgeon of changes in patient’s condition throughout procedure.
• Provide post anesthesia follow-up. Report and evaluate patient’s response to anesthesia for potential anesthetic complications.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualification:

Must have excellent verbal and written communication proficiency with strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to function well in a high-paced and stressful environment.  Must be skilled in airway management techniques and chronic pain treatment.  Proficient understanding of current anesthesia practices and techniques.

• Graduate of accredited nurse anesthesia program
• Minimum 2 years working experience as CRNA in an acute setting.
• Valid Florida State RN License
• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) or National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists. (NBCRNA)
• Current CPR/BLS
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) and Taxonomy code required at time of hire.
